ZipMyImages ("we", "our", "the Service") is committed to your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it. The short version: your image files never leave your device — all processing happens locally in your browser. We collect only the minimal data needed to run and improve the service.
We do not collect, upload, store, or process your image files. All image compression, conversion, resizing, and optimization is performed entirely within your browser using the Canvas API and JavaScript. No image data is ever transmitted to our servers.
If you create a free account, we store your email address and profile information (plan type, usage counters, preset configurations). This data is used solely to provide account features such as higher file limits and saved presets. We do not sell or share your account data with third parties.
We collect anonymous, aggregated usage data (page views, feature usage frequency, error counts) to understand how the Service is used and improve it. This data is not linked to individual users or accounts and contains no personally identifiable information.
We use browser cookies and local storage only to keep you logged in, to count guest files toward the daily limit, and to remember your last settings. This data stays in your browser. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.
We use Base44 (base44.com) for authentication and database services. Base44 is subject to its own privacy policy. No third-party service has access to your image files. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any ad-tech tracking services.
Account data is retained as long as your account is active. We keep anonymous batch statistics (file counts and total sizes, never the files themselves) to show overall savings. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.
The Service is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To request deletion of your account and associated data, use the feedback button on the main page. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the date below and, if the changes are significant, notify registered users via email. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
