A free image compressor that works entirely on your own device. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored.
ZipMyImages exists to solve one problem: shrinking images for the web should not require handing them to a stranger's server. Designers, developers and shop owners deal with photos every day, and most of those photos are private until the moment they are published.
So the whole tool runs inside your browser tab. Files are read from disk, re-encoded by your own processor and written back as a download. They are never sent anywhere, never logged and never stored, which also means the tool keeps working when your connection drops.
Everything is free. Guests get light guardrails on file count, file size and daily use. A free account lifts all of them: any number of files, any size, no daily cap, plus bulk resize, multi-format export and saved presets. There is no paid plan, because processing costs us nothing when it happens on your machine.
Every image is processed in your browser with the Canvas API and a WebAssembly JPEG encoder. Nothing is uploaded and no image data is collected.
There is no round trip to a server, so a slow connection does not slow you down. Your processor does the work and results appear in seconds.
JPEG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, TIFF, GIF and SVG go in; compress, convert, resize and batch rename, then take the whole set out as one ZIP.
Compress, convert and zip your images in four steps
Drag the files onto the drop zone or click to browse. JPEG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, TIFF, GIF and SVG are accepted, and the files are read straight from your disk rather than uploaded.
Pick an output format, a quality level and a compression mode. Add bulk resizing by long side, short side, megapixels or fit box, sharpening after downscale, and a batch rename pattern if you need one.
Press START and each image is decoded, resized and re-encoded by your own processor. Progress is shown per file, and you can cancel or retry a single image at any point.
When the batch is done, grab everything as one ZIP archive. The summary shows how many bytes you saved and what the reduction was across the whole set.
Your images are yours alone. Every file is processed locally in your browser. We do not upload, transmit or store the images you work with.
We use Base44 for authentication and database services. No third-party service has access to your images.
